Journalism graduate (ABJ), PR specialist and Telly Award winning

Producer/Director/Writer. As a PR Pro, she specializes in creative

A seasoned journalist, Lisa also consults with non-profit organizations and

Lisa Kaye Rayner is a lifelong creative thinker who wrote her first poem at the age of seven, her first manuscript at 21, and her first suicide note at 50. Her latest work is "Shelf Life of A Trophy Wife."

A native of Atlanta, Lisa is the mother of two daughters, Grand-Mere to one; a UGA Grady College of Journalism graduate who makes her home in Athens, GA with her Manola Blaniks, Jimmy Choos, and Brian Atwoods, as well as many fashionable friends.

In 2010, Lisa received the Woman of the Year award from Chayil, a foundation dedicated to helping battered women navigate life after leaving.

She is a PR Pro who specializes in writing, planning, marketing, branding, and producing major events and strategic promotions. A publicist at heart, she still navigates the journalism arena within the Social Media realm.

Active in the Community

A strong believer in giving back to the community, Lisa consults with non-profit organizations for their event and sponsorship needs and has produced charity fashion shows, balls, events, luncheons, and parties for the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, battered women’s shelters, children’s shelters, environmental groups, educational endeavors, and ASPCA, among many others.

She’s also a past and present member of several charity organizations, all the while supporting her many friends in their foundations and charities, such as the Atlanta Ballet, Atlanta Opera, Meals on Wheels, JDRF, Drop Dead Gorgeous, Jeffrey Fashion Cares, Mothers & Others for Clean Air, and the Captain Planet Foundation.

Producing Major Shows and Events

Previously, Lisa served as the PR/branding partner with E+L Communications/Design firm and was a partner with BOLD Entertainment, producing shows for Turner Original Productions and NYC based clients.

Samples of her noteworthy events include the 50th Anniversary Celebration of “GONE WITH THE WIND” for Turner Broadcasting, the brand launch of shoe guru FUMU ROI, and the major film party “Back to the Garden” for the Woodstock Film Festival.

Lisa was instrumental in establishing the Enlightenment Luncheon series with Laura Turner Seydel and Stephanie Blank to raise awareness about children’s environmental health issues, and serves as vice-chair and board member of Mothers & Others for Clean Air.

In her previous life, Lisa was a PR pro who specialized in writing, planning, marketing, branding, and producing events and strategic promotions. She has created marketing/media promotions and special events in Atlanta, New York, and LA. LISA KAYE RAYNER ON BEING A SOUTHERN WOMAN AND TROPHY WIFE

Growing up in Jonesboro, Ga., Lisa Kaye Rayner’s dad worked for Delta Airlines. She and her two sisters were being groomed to be the perfect Southern women. Their mother would dress them up in their Sunday best and fly all over the country. “My mother was a stewardess, but you couldn’t be a stewardess and be married.” So her mom had to quit her job. “It was a different time,” says Lisa.
